Standard HTV (Heat Transfer Vinyl) is flat and thin. 3D TPU film is significantly thicker (ranging from 0.5mm to 1.0mm) and made of Thermoplastic Polyurethane. It provides a raised, three-dimensional look and feel, adding a "high-end" retail value to the garment.

Yes. This film is specifically designed to be compatible with UV-LED inks. Printing directly onto the TPU surface allows you to create full-color, high-resolution graphics with an optional varnish finish for extra shine and protection.

Because of the thickness of the film, we recommend a "top-down" press at 300°F - 320°F (150°C - 160°C) for 15-20 seconds with firm pressure. For structured hats, using a dual-heated press (heat from the bottom) is highly recommended to ensure the thick material bonds properly.

When applied correctly, these labels are extremely durable. They are rated for 50+ industrial wash cycles. We recommend washing the garment inside out and avoiding high-heat drying to maintain the integrity of the adhesive and the UV ink.
